Oknha Dr. Mengly J. Quach, through the Mengly J. Quach Foundation, on October 16, 2020 donated 100,000,000 riels (USD 25,000) to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia, to support the Cambodian Government in order to rescue the vulnerable people affected by the flood. As part of the disaster response program, Oknha Dr. Mengly J. Quach also donates 100,000,000 riels (USD 25,000) to Mengly J. Quach Foundation for provision of food packages and medical assistance to those vulnerable people in some provinces and areas.
This was not the first time that Mengly J. Quach Foundation donates money to the Cambodian Government to respond to disasters occurring in the country. Remarkably in 2018, Mengly J. Quach Foundation donated $ 10,000 to help families affected by the collapse of buildings in Sihanoukville, and in 2019, the foundation donated $ 10,000 to help families affected by the collapse of a building in Kep province.
Many people who suffered from natural disasters such as floods, droughts, forest fires, earthquakes, etc. are helped upon by the foundation in order for them to survive. With deep sympathy to the loss of crops and livestock due to these disasters, MJQ Foundation will always find a way to help.
MJQ Foundation worked closely with the Royal Government of Natural Disasters to respond to the needs of the victims. This initiative is truly appreciated by the victims and this can show the new generations that we can be kind to one another, both now and in the future.
