Health Emergency Responses Project

Health Emergency Responses Project

The Mengly J. Quach Foundation launched its health emergency response project on January 10, 2012. This project aims to help promote healthy living in communities across Cambodia.

The Mengly J. Quach Foundation has been actively involved in health initiatives to ensure that impoverished students, women, the elderly, orphans, and the most vulnerable receive support for medical treatment and better health care.

Notably, upon receiving the tragic news of the building collapse in Preah Sihanouk Province in June 2019, the Mengly J. Quach Foundation decided to donate $10,000 through the Office of the Council of Minister to the families of the 28 victims. On the afternoon of January 3, 2020, the Mengly J. Quach Foundation team brought $10,000 to contribute to the families of the victims who suffered the tragic event of the collapse of the 7 floors building in Kep Province, where a total of 59 people were affected, including 22 women, of whom 36 died, including 14 women. Among the victims, there were 6 children, including 2 girls, and 23 injured people, including 8 women.

In addition, the Mengly J. Quach Foundation has provided $2,000 monthly, totaling $24,000, to the emergency response team on National Road 4 to help with their daily living expenses.
