Neak Oknha Mengly J. Quach Offers Scholarship of $1,400 to an Orphanage Kid from Takeo

Neak Oknha Dr. Mengly J. Quach, through Mengly J. Quach Foundation, on February 8, 2022 offered another scholarship to an orphanage financial-hardship student from Takeo province. It is remarkable that Mr. Tikuoy Torn from Chaompul village, Porpel commune, Tramkak district, Takeo province, has successfully been selected as the recipient of Mengly J. Quach Foundation’s 4-year college scholarship program. The scholarship awarded will cover the tuition fee of University program to completion, which is totaling in US dollars of $1,400. Mr. Tikuoy Torn is majoring in Khmer Literature at Royal University of Phnom Penh and he will start his class in this 2022-2023. We expect Mr. Tikuoy Torn to graduate from his four years degree program in 2026.

This initiative aims to encourage students and children to be passionate of studying and learning to boost and promote the education system in Cambodia. MJQ Foundation continues to implement programs and share knowledge. Students received these financial supports of scholarship are happy and believe that they will help improve their learning as they continue to strive for a better future.
