Oknha Dr. Mengly J. Quach spends around US$40,000 to help people affected by Covid-19

Oknha Dr. Mengly J. Quach, through Mengly J. Quach Foundation, donated 31,700 kg of rice and 12,020 cans of canned fish to 2,176 families of MJQE’s staff, vulnerable people in communities, pagodas and NGOs affected by the Covid-19 outbreak, at a total cost of around 40,000US dollars. These charity events were conducted from mid-April to the mid-July 2020 to help contribute to the fight against Covid-19 with the Royal Government of Cambodia.
Cambodia is working to address the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mengly J. Quach Foundation with Royal Government of Cambodia made donations to the national fight against the pandemic. On nine occasions, MJQ Food Banking donated rice and canned fish to the MQJE’s staff. Prompt actions were taken to donate rice and canned fish to those deeply affected including families from 6 villages in Banteay Dek Commune, 110 families from 3 villages in Koki Commune, 290 families from 5 villages in Sangkat Veal Sbov, 3 pagodas in Sangkat Veal Sbov, 2 NGOs in Phnom Penh and 1 NGO in Takmao, Kandal Province.
MJQ Foundation extends a helping hand to the poor and the needy. The donations given to them can help rebuild and continue their lives. The recipients of the donations were very happy, and MJQ Foundation understands this commitment and passion to help.
